Program Activities:

  • It is not possible to strictly enforce a 2m physical distance between participants at all times in a summer camp setting. As such, our risk management for COVID-19 is based on a standard of reasonable risk rather than a standard of caution.
  • Camp Imadene will only be providing activities that will minimize physical touching, and provide room for physical distancing. These activities are subject to change according to changing health regulations.
  • Campers will be reminded often about safe physical distancing of 2 meters.
  • Shared equipment will be disinfected before and after each use (e.g. bows and arrows).
  • For equipment or surfaces that cannot be easily disinfected, increased attention to appropriate hygiene practices will be implemented.
  • Free time blocks will not be permitted to avoid contact with campers outside of their camper group.

Parent Drop Off and Pick Up:

  • All Pickup and Drop off will happen outside in the camps main parking lot area.  Follow the signs and parking attendants for the correct location.  Only one parent or guardian will be allowed to enter the designated registration zone to sign in campers.  Parents are not allowed to leave the designated registration zone.

  • Drop off for both Mainsite and Wildside each day will be between 9:15-10:00 am

  • A health check at drop-off will be conducted by asking parents and caregivers to confirm that their child does not have symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other respiratory diseases.
  • Camp Staff will sign in and sign out the campers to avoid pens being handled by many people.  Please come prepared with the first and last name of whoever you are dropping off, plus the first and last name of the parent or guardian who will be picking the camper up. The parent or guardian who picks up the camper must produce photo ID.
